Game & UI Design

Two days after the launch of Apollo 13, an unforeseen explosion interrupts your mission to the moon. Improvise, work together with your coworker on earth and relive the Apollo 13 survival story with your own eyes in this coop-VR- survival game.

About This Project
Mission Insignia is a collaborative VR experience that I developed with three other fellow students during the third semester. It is inspired by the rescue mission of the Apollo 13 crew Jim Lovell, Jack Swigert and Fred Haise. In the game, one player is an astronaut who has access to the technology and environment of the command module in VR. The second player represents ground control and must give the astronaut the correct instructions to troubleshoot the spacecraft. The ground control player uses a retro command line interface in the style of the seventies, in which the mission also took place.
